Kuponya: Supporting Black Families Through Collaboration
In collaboration with the Jean Tweed Centre and Children’s Aid Society of Toronto, the program offers a twofold approach to working with Black families from a trauma informed perspective.
The program entails two groups. Trauma 101 is a short six week group that works with clients to begin to connect with trauma and trauma responses. Parenting Through Trauma groups then connect trauma with its impact on children with a view to developing supports and strategies.
